Box Lacrosse Now In Session – Video

Posted: November 8, 2010 by Paul Rai in Box Lacrosse, Drills, The Lacrosse Program, Video

The Lacrosse Program students started their box lacrosse unit last week.  Over the next six months our students will be fully immersed in box lacrosse development.  A large part of our instruction will focus on skill development.  We are focused on creating players with excellent stick skills that can catch in traffic and think the game at an elite level.  This takes repetition and focus.  In the high school video you will see a drill that we use to replicate a back pick and a cut through the defense to catch and shoot while pressured from behind.  I love this drill because it creates a game situation at high-speed and under duress.  These types of drills make players better.  Continue to visit the blog as we post more action from our daily sessions.
