Edmonton Eclipse Junior A Lacrosse Tryouts – Video

The Alberta Junior A lacrosse season is just over a month away and teams are on the floor running through tryouts for their teams.  Edmonton has two Junior A teams; the Eclipse and the Miners.  Calgary also has two teams; the Raiders and the Mountaineers, although the Raiders play out of Okotoks.  This time of year is always a time of uncertainty as teams determine who will be back for the upcoming season.  Some players are away at school playing lacrosse in the NCAA, others are working and others are making a decision if playing summer lacrosse is in their plans this year.  Yesterday I watched the Eclipse during their second round of tryouts.  I was able to catch a few minutes of video of their session.  It appeared to me that they were short several players and I do know of a few that are still away at school, including Kirby Zdrill who is at Yale.
