TLP Power Ready for Box Lacrosse – Video

Posted: October 29, 2011 by Paul Rai in Alberta Lacrosse, Field Lacrosse, The Lacrosse Program, Video

The students at The Lacrosse Program ended their Fall Field Lacrosse this week and now are ready for box lacrosse.  We were blessed with great weather during the Fall season with no snow.  In past years I can remember being outside running drills as the snow fell.  Not this year as we were given great weather all season.  We spent 10 weeks outside working on field lacrosse skills, tactics and systems.  Our high school players were provided opportunities to use their skills in actual game situations against the University of Alberta Club team and in a tournament hosted by the University of Alberta.  It was a great experience for the students.  Several of them will be heading to Maryland to participate in the UpLax tournament in late November.  Our junior high players were exposed to the game, for many the first time ever.  They worked hard and their game knowledge improved significantly.

Here is a video of the students as they prepared for one of their last sessions on the field. A very relaxed and happy group.
