Had the chance to watch the Westminster Varsity team play a few scrimmages while they were down in Florida at the 3D Lacrosse Camp.  The 3D Lacrosse Camp, operated by Jamie Munro, brings in a lot of teams from the Northeast to practice, play scrimmages and prepare for the season.  Lots of good lacrosse mixed in with some preseason rust.  Westminster won the Founders League last year and is getting ready for a tough season ahead.  There are no easy games in the Founders League, with every opponent able to beat you on any day.  The Founders League is comprised of prep school teams in the Western part of New England.  Here are two videos of their action.  The first against Exeter was Westminster’s first scrimmage and both teams were very sloppy.  Dropped balls, bad passes and poor execution were abundant on the field.  The Brewster scrimmage was better as the team showed much improvement in 24 hours.  I hope to have the second part of the video up within 24 hours.
