A great college lacrosse game played at sold-out Homewood Field in Baltimore, Maryland. The Maryland Terps won 9-6, after trailing 6-3 in the 3rd quarter.  Johns Hopkins feature two Canadian attackmen, Zach Palmer and Brandon Benn, who routinely score some amazing goals from the inside.  Unfortunately for them, Maryland was able to mount a comeback.

Here is my two cents on the Canadian attackmen.  Hopkins believes having two strong inside finishers, one a leftie and the other a rightie, makes their offense tick.  They have a feeder as their other attackmen and the three players work well off each other.  Is this the way to go for more teams?  You can’t argue with what Coach Petro does, even though Maryland was able to solve them.  One thing about these two Canadians is that they can also make some great passes, sharp and crisp, because they are used to putting balls on target through their box lacrosse training.

Watch the highlights, it looked like a great atmosphere for the game.
