Westminster alum Reid Acton won the NCAA Division I Men’s Field Lacrosse Championship today as his Loyola Greyhounds defeated the Maryland Terrapins 9 -3.  Reid is a starting longpole on the Greyhounds and was a big part of the defense that shutdown Maryland all day.  I watched the game and Loyola was outstanding on defense, never giving Maryland an easy look to the cage.  Click here to read an article about the game that has Reid speaking about the Greyhounds’ defensive play.

Watch the countdown to the final seconds of the game.
