The Canada Day Lacrosse Tournament is one of the largest minor lacrosse tournaments in Canada.  The tournament has been around for over 35 years and brings together some of the best lacrosse players in Alberta and across the globe.  Teams have come from Australia, Czech Republic and the United States as well as across Canada.  This year the Six Nations Warriors took the Pee Wee A Gold Medal in a hard fought battle with the West Edmonton Blues.  One thing I noticed watching the Six Nations teams is that their players have a strong knowledge of the game.  You can tell these young Six Nations players have watched a lot of Junior and Senior lacrosse.  A lot of what they do on the floor is very similar to what you would see at a Junior and Senior game.  It was great lacrosse to watch from both teams.  Here is some video from the Gold Medal game.
