Titans Junior A Games 4 and 5

TITANS LOGO REVISEDGames 4 and 5 proved to be nail biters, one ending in an overtime win over the Miners and the other ending in a one goal loss to the Mounties.  The season is proving to be one in which there is always an opportunity to pull out a victory.  Is there a clear cut leader of the pack?  So far the Mounties are taking a step forward as the top dog with 7 out of a possible 8 points so far this season.  It is still early so it may be premature to set anything in stone.  It is still May and things will really start to heat up in June as we hit the meat of our season.

I truly believe the team that can get in the most at practice over the next five weeks will be the one that steps out and makes a run for the end of the season.  It is all about execution and being able to make plays in every situation that will be a huge factor.  The games are fast and furious.  If players understand and manage situations that team will have a distinct advantage.  The practice tempo and intensity will be driven by the coaches, but the players will be the ones to make it actually happen.  If they lead the charge then they will pave the road to success.

Next home game is at the Sherwood Park Arena on Wednesday, May 28th against the St. Albert Miners.
