TITANS LOGO REVISEDSix games into the season means the regular season is now one third complete.  Of the first six games that we have played, four of them have been against our cross town rivals, the St. Albert Miners.  We have played two games against the Calgary Mounties and none against the Okotoks Raiders.  We knew with the schedule being loaded up with games against the Miners we needed to have a strong record out of the gates against them.  We were able to secure an 8 – 5 win in Game 6 of the season, which gave us 3 out of 4 wins against the Miners so far this season.  This has been a great start for us and has put us in second place, one point ahead of the Raiders who have a game in hand.  There is a lot of lacrosse left to be played, but our start has been good giving us some momentum for the season.  Only three of the four teams in the league make the playoffs so you do not want to be staring up at the league leaders early in the season.  Team is coming together.  The boys are creating some great chemistry and with a full roster of players available we are starting to get the depth we were striving for when we moved to Sherwood Park a year ago.

Next home game is June 4th at 8:15 PM at the Sherwood Park Arena.
